MEETINGS

Election of officers which requires a quorum. Most of the Board members have agreed to serve another term. Needed are:
Alliance of Fine Art representative starting in September.  
Program chair - Perhaps a committee of 2 (or 3) people.  Programs are already scheduled through the end of 2016.

Dues of $20 are due for next year. 

Program:  Alternative Joining Techniques & Small Tools
Learn simple, alternative ways to attach and join 3D elements, create space, suspend and hinge parts using everyday items and small tools in this demo and hands-on workshop. Great for 3D collage, assemblage & mixed media. Presented by Shawn Sargent who teaches at the DuPage Art League and has a shop in Glen Ellyn which features her work.

Gelatin Prints & Card Making

(For MCS members, It is OK to arrive a little late or leave a little early/late if timing is a problem)

Fee $50
Discover the creative patterns you can make from a cookie tray of Knox gelatin!  We will use pressed leaves, flowers, lace and more.  Finished prints can be framed, but we will also cut some into pieces to make cards.  Gelatin, papers, paints, all tools, cards and envelopes will be provided. We will also experiment with the popular "Gelli Plates"
Art instructor materials fee of $15 is to be paid to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
