Our March meeting will be Sunday, March 2, from 12:30-3:00 pm at the Darien Municipal Center, 1710 Plainfield Rd., Darien. Studio fee will be $5.
Our own June Fuerstenhaefer will demonstrate how to turn found objects into tools for making designs or "marks" on your collage work. Exciting results come from everyday items that you might otherwise throw out. Recycling takes on a whole new meaning. After the demonstration there will be a hands on workshop. Below are the supplies that June suggests you bring:
Bring 2 empty Toilet Paper rolls. (Trust me on this!)
(If you have a 4 oz jar of paint or glue that fits inside a paper roll, bring that.)
Note: I will have a few jars on hand.
Scrap Mat board. Cut one piece 3" square and one piece 4" long and 3/4" wide.
A "scoring tool" (Like the tool used to score a fold line in a greeting card.)
