The owner, Stephanie Colbert, will be there to talk about all of the wonderful services they offer for artists, including special framing ideas for collage, Giclee printing, in-house frame stock for quick orders, and more. Refreshments will be served. Margi has had several things framed by them and she is very impressed with their knowledgeable service.

Recently there have been questions about submitting collage art for MCS exhibitions. The following are the guidelines we have tried to follow:
(1) Art submitted should have been created within the last 3 years. We encourage artists to submit freshly created work.
(2) Art that received an award at a judged exhibit, are not eligible to be exhibited in another judged exhibit.
(3) Art that appeared in a venue (such as Downers Grove Library) where we have an annual exhibit, should not be exhibited a second time.
(4) When there is a low turnout of art in a non-judged show, there may be more flexibility and it would be at the discretion of the Exhibit Chair and the committee to decline work.
On the site, you can find it in the Thought-Provokers series midway down the homepage as part of the Southwest Side collection.
Thank you to all of my MCS friends that that helped make this possible. I'm looking forward to the exhibit in July!
I am now working on updating my Sisters Project information on my website and Facebook. I will also be contacting some charities and working on promotional ideas for the exhibit and the fund-raising sale of artwork.
I also still have some of Donna's pieces to finish...I brought some with me to Florida.
Please promote The Sisters Project and the exhibit to your families and friends
