1. URGENT: Those participating in the Layers3 show at Bloomingdale must drop off their work this Saturday, June 27, between 2 and 4 p.m.
The gallery is located at: Bloomingdale Park District Museum
108 S. Bloomingdale Road,Bloomingdale, IL 60108
one block south of the intersection of Bloomingdale Rd. and Lake Street (Route 20)
2. Bloomingdale show dates: July 11 thru August 22
Reception: Sunday, July 19 from 2 - 4 p.m.
Pick-up: Saturday, August 22 from 4 - 6 p.m.
3. Remember, there is NO MCS meeting in the month of July.
4. There are still a few days to see the work of Pat Pope, Mary Yezek and Tania Blanco at the Woodridge Public Library.
They are exhibiting throught he Lombard Arts Coalition through June 30.

Come see what's happening at theLaGrange Park Library! Planet is proud to announce it second group show entitled“Post X” July 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009 - - Planet will be exhibiting in the art gallery within the Lagrange Park Library (Illinois) located on the second floor during the month of July! This group show of members of includes individual art by select members, exchanged collage postcards along with exchanged candy tins. is an international online fine art collage group whose members are from all over the globe. This show will represent select member artists who reside in the surrounding suburbs* of Chicago and as far away as Pennsylvania, Spain, California and Washington State. Along with small artworks created by members, this exhibit includes a collection of postcards and tins received by curator and founder of, LuEllen Joy Giera of LaGrange Park, IL. The international postcard exchange began in April 2006. A list is created month by month and each participating artist is expected to make one postcard-sized (5”x7”) collage and mail them out to each and every participant. Each artist will receive the equal number of postcards back in their mailbox each month. This group show is just a very small portion of a wonderful array of collage work including framed and unframed pieces, candy tins and postcards exchanged to and from each artist as part of the monthly international postcard exchange.
