Hi MCS Members,
February is a Work
Day so bring a project and lunch. Remember we have the Exhibit at the
Downers Grove Library in April with the theme of Awakening. This can be
your opportunity to begin or continue working on an art piece for this show
while enjoying the social aspects of getting together with other MCS members.
Since no one has
volunteered to take on the Education Chair, please contact me if you are
willing to share your expertise and present a demonstration/workshop in March,
April, May or June. It's just 2 1/2 hours to keep our organization
viable. It doesn't have to be complicated, just something you know that
others will be interested in learning. My email is designsbynanc@gmail.com.
Please help us to continue this fantastic organization.

MEETINGS
February 6 9 am-2:30pm Work Day (no presenter)
Bring whatever you want to work on and visit with other Midwest Collage Society
members. Bring your lunch.
Tania will be bringing some components for making Valentine
cards. If anyone is interested, they will be complimentary.
Also, this year again Elmhurst Art Museum has asked for donations of hand made
cards that they distribute to local nursing homes. Tania has donated in
the past and will do so again this year. Anyone having valentines to
donate can give them to her and she will deliver them on the 7th of February
(their deadline). Let's spread some love during these challenging times.

the interior pages of their journals. You may also wish to use your own leather
and materials. A list of supplies will be sent to all Retreat registrants.
