Hi MCS Members,
Hope you are all
well and enjoying the lovely fall weather. Have to admit, this is my
favorite time of year, the colors, the crispness in the air and seasonal
vegetables. Pure delight!
Our last meeting
was delightful with Mary Warner teaching us how to make a star book.
This time it was with a bit of a twist with cutting designs into the inside
page. So much fun and pleasing to the eye. Thank you Mary for
sharing your expertise with us.
The anticipation of
the upcoming MCS Artist Retreat is really exciting. First I determined my
art projects and now have been gathering the necessary art supplies. This
takes more time than expected as it does every year. I'll be starting my
4" x 4" cards next week. I do feel like a kid getting
ready for camp. That's a good thing.
Remember there is
no meeting in October. We will have Bonnie Jaswith showing us a very
unique ornament at our November meeting. Depending on the paper selected,
it can be used all year round.
Take care,
Nancy Castner,
President
