March 1 noon-2:30pm Carrie Ann Schumacher (Bonkowski) will present an artist talk on her practice of
creating dresses out of book pages. Afterwards she will demonstrate how to
create a wearable paper brooch by using scrapbooking tools. Participants will
create their own "novel" brooch out of the pages of romance novels.
Supplies to bring: glue gun, scrapbooking/paper-working tools including scissors, hole punch, glue, and plastic table cloth.

April 5th noon-2:30pm Process and Practice-Collage Art Laura Lein-Svencner has been working in the medium of collage for 25 years. She has established a process and a practice around her art. Laura will share how artists can break rules, connect authentically and if you’ve become distant from your art how you can fall back in love with it. The demonstration of her “Tack Down Tuesday’s” will be shared for all to see from beginning to end.
