May 5th Meeting Carol Kazwick



CAROL KAZWICK

Carol is a Chicago area based mixed media artist and instructor in hand papermaking and collage. Her artwork revolves around the themes of the natural world, landscape and the past. She holds a B.A. in art from North Central College and exhibits her work extensively in the Midwest. Her work is in the collection of the Kane County Judicial Building, the Hines Veteran Administration Hospital and is also in many private collections.
 
 
Carol Kazwick will be our guest presenter for May 5th meeting please join us if you decide to participate please bring the follow supplies.
 
 Supply list:
1-3 pieces of mat board, Bristol board or watercolor paper (140# or heavier)- approximately 11" x 14"
ruler
pencil
 xacto knife
cutting surface
glue stick (I will bring additional adhesives)
scissors
any 2-D materials that the artists would like to use. I will bring additional collage materials.

The particular technique that will be shared relates directly to composition and the topic of composition.    Handouts will be provided with information about composition. Carol will share with our Society her "No Fail Collage" process.
