APRIL MEETING THIS SUNDAY
Our April meeting is this Sunday, April 1, from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. at the Darien Municipal Center, 1710 Plainfield Road in Darien. Our own Dianne Martia will present a mini-workshop on collage bookmarks. A description and supply list is below.
Collage Bookmarks - Bring your art down in size. Make collaged bookmarks by assembling decorative papers, dried flowers, or stamps. Laminate them and add tassels and beads. They’re useful and artful, and they make great gifts. There will be enough time to make approximately 6-8 bookmarks.
Supply list: Papers (not too thick), ribbons or tassels, beads with large enough hole for ribbons, scissors, x-acto knife, ruler,
Optional: Flat, dried flowers or leaves, postage stamps, rubber stamps, tickets, any small, flat image, corner punches or small hole punches if you have them
These items will be supplied: Laminating film and laminators, trimmers, cutting mats, punches, enough supplies for 1 bookmark per person to get started
