August 3 9:30 - 2:30 - Workday You can bring the project of your choice. It is a great time to share news with fellow members as you create your work. Nancy Swingle will have a refresher for the origami dresses for anyone interested. Andrea Fox will be there for opening and closing up the meeting. She recommends bringing a sack lunch and beverage.
September 7 Noon - 2:30 - Come see how Dorothy Bury Shaw, an award winning artist, achieves a rich, other-worldly quality with her technique, rendering her subjects through the intricate layers of ink, colored pencil, and wet mediums on illustration board. She also incorporates elements of collage. (Joan Lucht runs meeting)

Best of the Best will be held at the DuPage Art League Fine Arts Gallery, 218 W Front St, Wheaton, August 2-26th. The Awards Reception will be on August 10th from 2pm-4pm. Try to get to Wheaton to enjoy the amazing artists in DuPage County. The flyer is attached to this email.
