1. June Meeting this Sunday,12:30 - 3 pm
Our meeting on Sunday, June 3, will feature our own June Fuerstenhaefer in a mini-workshop on collage using napkins. Here is a worship description and a short supply list of items each should bring:
We will have a demonstration and hands on workshop exploring the use of paper napkins. Learn where to find them and how to adhere them. The principles of design remain the same. Finding, trading and combining different napkins is part of the fun. As an added audience participation feature, June is asking you to bring your favorite stamping tool. We will have a quick show and tell and get new ideas to add to our collection. Let's see who has the strangest item in their hoarding stash!
Your kit will include a blank greeting card & envelope and a large variety of napkins will be available.
Supply List:
Bring a small piece of mat board (about 8 x 8") to experiment on, your "scrap stash," glue stick, paint brush (#5) & small water container, drafting tape or other "low tack" tape, scissors, tweezers, baby wipes, plastic place mat.
Please note that there is no longer a coffeemaker in our meeting room, so we will not be providing coffee at our meetings. Of course, you are always welcome to bring coffee, water or soft drinks of your own as well as a treat to share with the group. And feel free to bring any items you wish for the swap table. (If you bring something and it is still left at the end of the meeting, we ask that you remove it so our officers are not responsible for disposing of it.)
