MCS EXHIBITS
We hung the Bits & Pieces show successfully and all the labels are up.
The show opened Mary 19th.   Gallery hours are Wednesday thru Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM except for holiday weekends and will be open during all performances and events at The Norris and East High School.
If there is construction, the alternate entrance is to the left of the main front and around the corner just a few feet. It is DOOR 45 and it has four stairs and it enters into the large gallery that has the showcase.  If anyone comes after the front is officially closed, there will be a sign indicating the entrance is DOOR 45.  At that time, there will also be a sign telling anyone that is unable to do those four (4) stairs at Door 45, what to do.  That would also include those using a walker or wheelchair.  There will be another door that those individuals will be able to enter and more specifics will come later.

Our judge, Susan Bartlett, a collage artist with the Nature Artists' Guild, has returned from her trip to Colorado and will visit the show twice before judging it.  Those awards will be announced as soon as we know and the ribbons will be put up for visitors to see during the course of the show.

The Bits & Pieces Reception is June 30, 1:30 to 3:30 at the Norris Cultural Center for the Arts at 1040 Dunham Road, St. Charles, IL
Artists should plan to bring wrappings with them to pick up their art work right after the reception.  Please have a friend pick up for you if you cannot come to the reception!

The September show will be limited to a small group with the people who volunteered at the April meeting. Check with Nancy Castner.
